CSC values its efforts and commitment to sustainability. Below are some of the initiatives CSC has implemented to continue and improve this effort.
Energy Efficient Lighting
CSC facilities have been converted to utilize the latest LED ‘auto dimming’ lighting technology in an effort to reduce energy consumption.
Waste Water Treatment
Select CSC facilities utilize the most advanced technology to capture waste water to reuse in the manufacture of starch adhesives.
Recycled Waste Paper
CSC’s waste paper is collected, baled, and shipped to our Alsip MiniMill, which is then manufactured into recycled corrugated medium.
Recycled Plastic and Metal
The metal banding from our rollstock is collected and shipped to a local recycler. We strive to collect and recycle most of the plastic used in CSC’s facilities.
